Indian Railways has launched an AI-based Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to prevent elephant deaths on railway lines, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told the Lok Sabha. This IDS technology uses Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS), which can detect the sound of elephant movement through optical fiber cables installed near the railway lines.
ভারতীয় রেলওয়ে রেললাইনে হাতির মৃত্যু রোধে AI-ভিত্তিক Intrusion Detection System (IDS) চালু করেছে বলে লোকসভায় জানিয়েছেন রেলমন্ত্রী অশ্বিনী বৈষ্ণব।এই IDS প্রযুক্তিতে Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS) ব্যবহার করা হয়, যা রেললাইনের কাছে বসানো অপটিক্যাল ফাইবার কেবলের মাধ্যমে হাতির চলাচলের শব্দ শনাক্ত করতে পারে।
