More than 3,000 participants from across India took part in Sarhad Shauryathon 2026, organised by the Indian Army in collaboration with Sarhad Pune and the local administration. The marathon included 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km race categories.

The event was held on 5 July 2026 at the Kargil War Memorial in Drass, Ladakh, as part of the celebrations leading up to Kargil Vijay Diwas.
