    UPI Goes Global: India Partners with 23 Countries on Digital Infrastructure

    India has signed MoUs and agreements with 23 countries to enhance cooperation on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). The goal is to extend and make India's digital platforms, under the India Stack framework, available in other countries.

    India's popular digital payment system, UPI, is now operational in more than eight countries, including the UAE, Singapore, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, France, Mauritius, and Qatar.

    🔹 Special agreements on DigiLocker:

    India has signed separate MoUs with Cuba, Kenya, the UAE, and Lao PDR for cooperation on DigiLocker.
