Russia
In Short এক নজরে

To strengthen international trade, Russia will construct a railway line between Astara in Azerbaijan and Rasht in Iran as part of the "International North-South Transport Corridor." This will reduce the transportation time and cost between Mumbai in India and Moscow in Russia by approximately 30%.

International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC)

The International North-South Transport Corridor (INSTC) is a 7,200-kilometer-long multi-modal transport route that connects India with Europe and Central Asia through ships, railways, and roads. It starts from Mumbai in India, reaches the port of Bandar Abbas in Iran on the Persian Gulf, crosses the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan (Baku) or Russia (Astrakhan), and extends to Moscow and Saint Petersburg to access Northern Europe. It bypasses the Suez Canal route.
