Renowned singer Asha Bhosle breathed her last at the age of 92 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
Having begun her career in 1943, Asha Bhosle sang approximately 12,000 songs and delivered numerous popular hits, including ‘Chura Liya Hai’, ‘Do Lafzon Ki’, and ‘O Haseena’. She collaborated with many celebrated composers, including R. D. Burman and A. R. Rahman.
She garnered numerous accolades, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
প্রখ্যাত সঙ্গীতশিল্পী Asha Bhosle ৯২ বছর বয়সে মুম্বাইয়ের Breach Candy Hospital-এ শেষ নিঃশ্বাস ত্যাগ করেছেন।
১৯৪৩ সালে ক্যারিয়ার শুরু করা আশা ভোঁসলে প্রায় ১২,০০০ গান গেয়েছেন এবং ‘চুরা লিয়া হ্যায়’, ‘দো লফজোঁ কি’, ‘ও হাসিনা’সহ বহু জনপ্রিয় গান উপহার দিয়েছেন। তিনি R. D. Burman, A. R. Rahman-সহ বহু বিখ্যাত সুরকারের সঙ্গে কাজ করেছেন।
তিনি ২০০০ সালে দাদাসাহেব ফালকে পুরস্কার এবং ২০০৮ সালে পদ্ম বিভূষণসহ বহু সম্মান অর্জন করেন।
