On Wednesday, the 10th Armed Forces Veterans Day was observed across the country with various events to pay heartfelt tribute to the valour, sacrifice, and lifelong service of ex-servicemen.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was present at the main event held at the Manekshaw Centre in Delhi Cantonment, where approximately 2,500 ex-servicemen from Delhi and the National Capital Region participated. Veterans' rallies, wreath-laying ceremonies, grievance redressal centres, and help desks were organised across the country.
বুধবার দেশজুড়ে বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে ১০ম প্রতিরক্ষা বাহিনী ভেটেরান্স ডে উপলক্ষে প্রাক্তন সেনাসদস্যদের বীরত্ব, ত্যাগ ও আজীবন সেবার প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করা হয়।
প্রধান অনুষ্ঠানে প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রী রাজনাথ সিং দিল্লি ক্যান্টনমেন্টের মানেকশ সেন্টারে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। সেখানে দিল্লি ও জাতীয় রাজধানী অঞ্চলের প্রায় ২,৫০০ জন প্রাক্তন সেনাসদস্য অংশগ্রহণ করেন। সারা দেশে ভেটেরান্স র্যালি, পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ, অভিযোগ নিষ্পত্তি কেন্দ্র এবং সহায়তা ডেস্কের আয়োজন করা হয়।
